The same map FireShield customers see in the app. Every flame is a fire reported by CAL FIRE, the National Interagency Fire Center or the FIRIS program; the flame fills in as containment rises. Solid outlines are agency-mapped perimeters, dashed outlines are estimated from reported acreage, orange dots are satellite heat detections, and the streaks are the current surface wind from NOAA. Tap a flame for details.
