Pricing
Advanced wildfire defense, priced for more homes
FireShield is more competitively priced because of how it is built and run — in Los Angeles, in-house, without a commissioned sales force. Our goal is to make advanced wildfire defense available to every homeowner who needs it, not only a few.

Why it costs what it costs
More competitive because of how we work
One team in Los Angeles
FireShield is designed, installed and serviced by the same Southern California team. No regional middlemen and no long-distance support chain, which keeps the price down and the support close.
Everything is in-house
We build it all ourselves: the controller, the plumbing design, the cloud backend, the fire-data ingestion and the app. There are no third-party platform fees for us to pass on to you every month.
No high-commission sales force
You talk to the people who design and install the system, not a commissioned salesperson whose cut is built into your price.
Efficient by design
Solid-state electronics, no fan, no operating system and very low power draw. One controller platform runs a small cottage or a 36-zone estate, so there are fewer parts to make, stock and service.
Engineered with tech-industry discipline
Firmware refined over years of development, and hardware chosen to do one job reliably. That engineering is done once and shared by every system we install.
Money goes back into R&D
What would otherwise go to overhead goes into research and development, so every FireShield system keeps getting better.
Local, start to finish
Here when you need us
Other systems in this category are designed or manufactured outside Los Angeles — some overseas — and are installed through regional contractor or installer networks. FireShield is designed, built, installed and serviced by one team in Los Angeles, the same place as the homes it protects. When fire season arrives, the people who know your system are nearby.
Our mission
Wildfire defense for the whole community
We live here too. Our aim is to bring advanced wildfire defense within reach of every household — by perfecting a robust, straightforward product that any licensed contractor can install, and by putting what we earn back into making it better. Supporting FireShield supports the safety of the neighborhoods around it.

Questions
Pricing questions
- How much does a FireShield system cost?
- Every system is designed for its property — the number of zones, the water source and the pipe runs decide the price. The inspection is free, and you get a personalized quote after it.
- Why is FireShield more competitively priced?
- Because of how it is built and run: one team in Los Angeles designs, installs and services it; the controller, cloud backend, fire data and app are all in-house, so there are no third-party platform fees to pass on; there is no high-commission sales force; and one efficient controller platform serves every size of property.
- Does a lower price mean lower quality?
- No. The savings come from how the company operates, not from the hardware: solid-state, fanless controller, up to 36 zones, Wi-Fi, cellular and satellite, battery backup, and unpressurized standby plumbing.
- What warranty comes with it?
- FireShield systems come with a 5-year warranty. The details are in your agreement.
- Is there an ongoing fee?
- An annual subscription covers monitoring, live fire data and connectivity. It is itemized in your quote.
- Can my own contractor install it?
- Yes. FireShield is designed for straightforward installation by any licensed contractor, including your own — or by our crews.
The FireShield Wildfire Defense System is designed to support wildfire mitigation, not to provide guaranteed protection. Performance varies based on environment, usage, and maintenance.
